Soft Sage Floral Motif

Sage green with a pink floral motif — green is the hardest colour to get right in cotton, because most greens go either fluorescent or muddy. Sage is the exception: greyed, soft, and quiet enough to leave out year-round.

What makes a real dohar

Three layers, not one. Two printed cotton faces with a layer of soft mulmul between them. That middle layer is what makes a dohar warm without weight, and it's the part most printed "summer blankets" leave out entirely.

Two dohars in one. Each face carries a different hand block print, so you can flip it and change the room without changing the bedding.

Hand-stitched, not machine-quilted. The running border that holds the three layers together is stitched by hand around the edge. The stitches sit slightly irregular, close together, and hold far better than a machine-run hem.

Block-printed in Sanganer, Jaipur, in Procion reactive dyes. Reactive dye bonds into the cotton fibre rather than sitting on top of it, so the colour goes right through and stays true through years of washing.
